May 2025 Instant Tea Imports

Data from the US Census Bureau (GATS) was recently published regarding US instant tea imports for May 2025.

 

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE

• YTD world total imports are UP 2.2% over the previous year
• YTD imports from China are DOWN 2.7% over 2024
• YTD imports from India are UP 17.8%
• Avg $/Kg are DOWN 35.7%, UP 0.5%, and DOWN 12.1%, respectively, for China, India, and World Total for May 2025 vs May 2024.
