Firsd Tea’s OCG005 Organic Genmaicha combines the rich flavors of steamed green tea with the roasty, nutty character of toasted rice. This is the classic Japanese-style green tea.
Organic Genmaicha infuses to a yellow tint with aromas carried by the toasty rice. The liquor combines the nuttiness of the rice with softer vegetal and mineral elements from the steamed green tea.
Green teas like organic genmaicha have mild caffeine levels and contain antioxidant polyphenols and l-theanine amino acids.
Contains caffeine. Allergen free. Non-GMO.
USES
OCG005 Organic Genmaicha is used:
- As a standalone tea, or blended with matcha
- Craft brewers use it with lagers and Asian-inspired beers to draw out the green tea and toasted rice character
