Firsd Tea’s OCG030 Organic Kukicha Roasted is a green tea made in the style of Japanese kukicha using the veins and stems of green tea leaves. The tea is produced in Zhejiang Province, China. Kukicha is made from the processing of steamed green teas, like sencha or matcha. As the name implies, the stems and veins are then more deeply roasted.

Tie Kuan Yin oolong can be processed to varying degrees of oxidation and roasting, but Firsd Tea’s OCO006 Organic Tie Kuan Yin is considered a medium roast wulong. Tie Kuan Yin oolong is known for soft floral aromas, woody/roasted notes, a silken texture, and light caramel sweetness.
Oolong teas like Organic Tie Kuan Yin have mild caffeine levels and contain antioxidant polyphenols and l-theanine amino acids.
